Intel Processor Reviews – Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and i9

Laptop Computer Processor – Intel Processor

The Laptop Computer processor industry mainly leads by two companies Intel and AMD. Today we will review all the Intel processors and analyze the latest technology. We will also suggest which processor will be the best for your laptop.
Intel Processor, Gaming Laptop Processor, Best Processor
Since the evolution of the computer industry, these two brands are enjoying almost high market shares. If we talk about the technology of a computer device, so we found that the core of the computer is the Processor. It not only helps to process multi-task seamlessly, but it supports the other key software and hardware in such a manner that they become more efficient in terms of performance and energy saving.

So choosing the right processor is always a tricky question for buyers. In this review, we will help you to decide the best fit processor for your laptop computer. CPU is a small chipset designed by these companies, which processes the user command on the laptop desktop. It is just like our brain, which gets a command from internal and external sources and processes them with a logic, which we called output.

Industry Leader - Intel Core i3, i5, i7 & i9

In this article, we will review only Intel Core i3, i5, i7 & i9, for AMD processor we will come with different articles. If you have used a computer back in 2000, you may know about Intel Pentium, Dual Core, Core2 Duo processors, so you can understand that from one generation to another Intel is working on better products in terms of chipset design to increasing their processing power. So all these old processors are phased out from the market and now if you will go to buy a new laptop computer, you will get a new range of Intel processors, which is i-Series.
Now we will understand how these four Intel processors are different and how fast they perform and who is the user of each category.  First, you can understand the difference from this comparison table in which I have given the detail of the 9th and 8thgeneration of Intel processors.

Intel Processor, Gaming Laptop Processor, Best Processor
So guys let me explain what is all these processors are, Intel is a company that provides processor for all range of laptop computers. It starts from an entry-level personal laptop and then there are business laptops, professional laptops, gaming laptops, ruggedized laptops. All these categories actually define what kind of work you are going to do with your gadget. If you are a student or household, you may use it for normal day to day work like study, watching movies, internet surfing, etc., but if you are a professional like engineer, architect, video editor, video game developer, designer, etc., then certainly your work nature is complex and for such complex works you required highly efficient processor.

So the first lesson is that if your work is not complex in nature then you should go for an entry-level processor Intel Core i3. If you are a web designer or a professional, working with some enterprise-level software then you may go for Intel Core i5. If you are working on complex engineering software or you are a video editor, software developer, game developer, then you may go for a powerhouse processor like Core i7 & i9.

Please don’t get confused with the generation of a processor, it basically suggests that the company made some changes in the previous generation to make it more efficient. You know that previously we have a 14 nm processor in the market and now we have an 8nm processor for laptop computers. Intel is trying to make as a small circuit as possible. So it can pass information faster the ever and it will consume less power.

When we go to the market to buy a laptop, the first question we ask the seller, what is the speed of the processor and how much core does it have? The number of core defines that how efficient laptops will work during the muti-tasking. In the above table, you can see that number of core in Core i5 is higher than Core i3 and definitely, it will work better than Core i3, when you may be working on heavy software and file. It does not mean that you have to buy a laptop that has a Core i5 & above processor. If you are a writer and most of the time you are using only the internet and MS office, then there is no logic to buy such a high processor. Similarly, you don't need to buy a 9th generation processor, the 8th gen processor of Core i5 & i7 will work perfectly for you, so you may not need to pay extra money just to shake off the new update.

Intel Core i3 desktop processors have four cores. They lack support for two core technologies found in higher-end CPUs. These are Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost. But performance-wise this processor will meet your requirement and if you are looking for the best laptop in the range of 3000 range then you have to go with it.

Intel Core i5 desktop CPUs have six cores. They don’t offer Hyper-Threading, but they do have Turbo Boost. Turbo Boost dramatically increases the clock speed when more power is needed. So if your budget is up to 40000, then you can go for it.

Intel Core i7 desktop CPUs have six cores. Core i7 processors have both Turbo Boost and Hyper-Threading. Hyper-Threading creates virtual cores to operate in a way that a processor with more cores would operate. Now you can understand the key function of Hyper-Threading, Core i7 has 6 Core but virtually it can work like a 12 core processor.

Intel Core i9 CPUs has 8 cores, it is a powerhouse processor for the best Gaming Laptop and the first choice for the creative and broadcasting industry.

Guys, I think we have explained all the aspects related to the Intel processor, we will come with more information about the AMD processor in our next article. If you have any queries related to buy a laptop or any other suggestion, you can drop your message in the comment box.
